Field Day 2013 was a blast! It began with the traditional Olympic procession. Each class led by their banners, and the running of the torch. Mr. D. reminders about sportsmanship, and citizenship, then a fun time was had by all. Marbles in the swimming pool, water balloons, obstacle courses, battleship, tug-o-war, tricycle races, 1mile nature walks, a bounce house, and PTA pizza lunch for all! (Thank you Varsity Pizza for the good deal and prompt delivery of 80 pizzas) There were parent helpers aplenty, and all stations were manned. A final bout of running the stations and it ended under sunny skies with popsicles for everyone. Thank you to all the parents who helped, and kept Field Day fun and safe.
